Today’s Jackson (MI) Citizen Patriot has an article about a branding campaign that I suggested to them after visiting the city. Jackson is a wonderful town with great parks, dynamic downtown and many other attributes. Our Agurban tomorrow is about ART 634 in the town.
Unfortunately, most people in Michigan associate the state penitentiary with Jackson. I told them, “If you don’t brand yourself, someone else will brand you and you might not like what that brand is.” I’m glad to see that they are doing something about it.
