I hope that all of my readers have a wonderful Christmas and great New Year.
I'm going to take some time off from blogging and be back next year.

Dear Mr. Schultz, I just heard about you this fall and have enjoyed starting receiving your newsletter. My Wife and I returned to our home town in Salem,Il about three years ago and like so many are troubled by the number of shuttered business's and buildings in rural America and especially downstate Illinois.
I hope to meet you in 2009 and thank you for your good ideas and suggestions .
Mike; Welcome back home! We're only 30 miles north of Salem so come on up for a cup of coffee or lunch. Give me a call sometime.
You are exactly right! There are many challenges in rural America today, but if we can work together in our small towns, there is so much we can accomplish.
