Teenager Thriving Online

Even though he still can’t drive for a year, 15 year old David Orr has built up an interesting online business in my hometown of Effingham. He and a friend started Fruper.com, choosing the name because it rhymes with super. The company sells consumer electronic items over the site, and its slogan is “Fruper Duper Deals”. Orr told me, “We have a deal a day on the site.”

I’ve been saying for sometime that this next generation, the Millennium Generation, is going to be the most entrepreneurial generation in the history of the USA. What are you doing to encourage the young entrepreneurs in your town?
