Cluster Impact

The impact of clusters was shown yesterday when 275 new jobs were announced, paying $70,000 a year in Warsaw, IN (population 12, 415) by Zimmer Holdings. The spinal implant maker is one of several orthopedic device makers that are headquartered in the town. Zimmer will spend $24 million to renovate some existing, to add space for the new engineers and researchers.

Regional clusters can be tremendous job generators. Warsaw has one of the best.
